SykosouL is a name that was made up one day by vocalist Shy. He said that everyone in the band was a syko and of course every one had a soul but he also wanted S and L (Shy and Linsey)in there some where, so thats where the name came from. SykosouL has been together for about a year and everyone in the band is still in high school. We are wanting so bad to be signed and make a great CD. The Band consist of Shy on Vocals, he is 17 and a senior at Blue Ridge high. Fungi on Guitar and Back up vocals, he is 16 and a junior at carolina high school. Marty on Lead guitar, he is 17 and a senior at Blue Ridge high. Leo on Bass, he is 17 and a Senior at Travelers Rest High. Ray on Drums, he is 16 and a sophmore at Blue Ridge High. Shy has been in many other bands but always played the drums but one day his cousin Ray came to him wanting to be in the band but didnt know how to do anything so for 4 years Shy taught Ray how to play the drums and now he rocks. They started a band Skull Monkeys which consist of Shy on bass Fungi on Guitar and Ray on drums, they had no singer and Shy had never played a bass before. So they decided to find a bass player and let Shy just sing so we went through a few bass players until they had a gige with a band called Disillusioned, after that concert SykosouL knew thats what they needed. Disillusioned had a bass player like know other, he rocked and a Guitar player that just could move his fingers so fast that you would just sit and stair. SykosouL told Leo and Marty that they would love them to be in SykosouL but didnt want to take them from there band, so we told them to think about it. They seem to enjoy SykosouL alot because with in the next few weeks they joined and now we are complete.
